Is it just me or...
Feb. 18th, 2012 08:53 pmIn fiction, there is an over-representation of death compared to birth. Most works contain at least one death, real or symbolic. Birth? Not so often. There are many instances of symbolic rebirth, but not of actual birth.

Contrary to popular belief, school is a muse. She looks like a lion. Or a sphinx. Or a cherub. The old cherub, not the modern days baby-like cherub.

It was meant to be a gift for the teachers who helped me with my writing. One of them decided to submit it to the contest. Yeah. Oh, and it was written as the apres-gout of another poem context that took place before this one where I only got a honorable mention. And this poem is 3 year-old.
