Dave <3< Eridan to be exact, but Dave's feeling is also close to human love because he is human, though also kismessitude because they are in a troll empire. It's human Dave and troll Eridan, in hate-love. Dave is a slave, but Eridan brings him trolls to kill like a pious priest bringing sacrifices to his god. And Dave plays along, even breaking one of Eridan's horns. And Eridan made that into a dagger for Dave. Goodness. Why are Eridan's quandrant-love/romances all so romantic in fanfics? Sorry, not all, but when I read one it tend to be very romantic and maybe I'm just lucky with Eridan fics.

Blackbird AU on AO3: http://archiveofourown.org/series/16945

AU by Nachte.

Now that's how many fics where it's romantic to kill in front of someone and then threaten to kill or maim that someone? If only in real life politic leaders who are in war with each just go hate-smooch each other instead of making war with entire countries.

Quick! What's the password?

There is a direct link to the unlocked comic: http://vjumpbooks.com/digimon/digimon01.html

Also, there is a fan Digimon Project that looks honestly impressive called 幾千のアポカリプス (Thousands of Apocalypses, though the official English title seems to be - Asocial Alter Avoidable: ANUBIS. -).

Trailer: http://youtu.be/8zYZtRwSonk

Website: http://apocalypse4.web.fc2.com/index.html

It is mostly a fan novel, with illustrations. The pdf files are not ready, but they can still be read as html pages in the novel section. The novel is completed.

Despite being a parody, it is much more awesome that the anime "showdown" between Satoshi and Shigeru at the League.

It is a moemon AU with elements from all over the canons. And then some headcanons and fanons.

Basically, Satoshi, a masochist and aspiring Pokemon trainer, joins power with Pica, one of Prof Oak's four Pokemon to embark on a journey and challenge the League. His rival is Shigeru, a lolicon with Bulbasaur as starter.

spoiler )

Most impressively, the whole comic is apparently drawn entirely in MS Paint. If it is true, then it deserves the name of MSPA more than Hussie's comics.

Oh my upstairs. Bookshop.owner!Karkat is like Aziraphale. Doesn't want to be separated from his favourite books.

And I love the BFFness between Dirk and Roxy. And how Dirk accuses Karkat of homophobia to get away smoking his fags... I mean cigarettes, no intention to offend anyone's sensibilities there. Poor rolled up tobacco, having to deal with been called a word that is pejorative in half the planet.

This is really not bad. No wonder why a certain Guide just described Earth as "Mostly Harmless" (updated from "Harmless").

I wonder what Neptune was like?

eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

And it's full of smells. It's wonderful. Smells on the foreground and lights in the background. It's almost as if it's tailor-made for me (of course it can't be, but that's how much it suits my taste). And all the noises, of metal grating or footsteps or voices... This fic stimulates all the 7 senses exactly how it should and it's wonderful.

coldhope's Discstuck drabbles. Go read them. That author blended Discworld and Homestuck seamlessly together and it's wonderful.

WHAT IS EVEN AIR

Help I'm hyperventilating.

And this writer (coldhope on AO3) does White Collar too. Homestuck, Discworld and White Collar. And Transformers. Hhhhnnnnnnnnnggggggggggg.

Go read it. It's the famed Chinese story's Sidney Shapiro translation in a textual Let's Read of sort. The full story is Water Margin or Outlaws of the Marsh. In French it's Au bord de l'eau, which doesn't sound very impressive.

Note: To clarify, the Chinese believed that one of the moves of a tiger is to hit with its tail like a whip. Yes, like the Pokemon move Iron Tail, but long before the game was made.

The full book was written/recorded in a way that it's best to read one chapter at time at an audience. If the wikisource version is to be believed, instead of inciting the reader to read the next chapter like the English version says, it actually said to listen to the next chapter. So reading/listening to a story was a social event in China before? That sounds pretty awesome.

Where are the notes/FAQs? I need to know all that I can about a AU with cravats.

I'm reading Italo Calvino's If on a winter's night a traveler. Yes, it's that novel where every chapter is the first chapter of a book. It was written in Italian and then translated to other languages. For some reason, the English translation I'm reading still feels stronger like if it should be a Latin language. Where can I find a French version? I think I have asked a local bookshop before, but they didn't have it.

I just discovered that I've never scrolled paraTactician's works all the way to the bottom. So I did and read New Game Plus.

...why is that I can't stop seeing Dave/Karkat despite it technically not a ship explored in it?

Dave <3< Karkat

Dave c3< John c3< Karkat

Karkat <> Kanaya

I can't

This is one of the best Homestuck fanfictions I have ever read.

It has the most impossible pairing (Equius x The Helmsman), but done in such a beautiful way.

Don't forget to read from the beginning.

I saw this quote when surfing the net today:
“The human race, to which so many of my readers belong, has been playing at children’s games from the beginning, and will probably do it till the end, which is a nuisance for the few people who grow up.” — The Napoleon of Notting Hill – G. K. Chesterton

Is that what PTerry and GNeil were talking about in Good Omens? The G.K Chesterton dedication before the story begins.

I have finally decided to tackle it. Looks like I must be half-blind because I only succeeded with the help of Ctrl + F.

A surreal tale of a fictional hikikomori who is aware that he is both fictional and, well, hikikomori. It is not exactly a comic, but there is a semblance of sequence there.

Warning: tentative of suicide, one image with potentially seizure-inducing blinking and pessimism.

Looks like Discworld and Paranoia Agent are both therapeutic, though in different ways. The first is a social satire and the second is a social criticism. Both are highly recommended.

(Discworld is a series by Sir Terry Pratchett and Paranoia Agent is by Satoshi Kon.)
