[For Green's birthday party on pixiv chat 2011 that I missed because I overslept.]
Title: The Princess who did not like princes
Rating: G to PG-13 (homosexuality)
Summary: Princess Green was to marry on her birthday.
Once upon a time, there was a princess named Green. The kingdom was preparing for her seventeenth birthday. It was to be an important day, for it was the day she was going to be married. Princes and princesses from many countries arrived for the occasion. But Green, unwilling to get married so soon, escaped the castle with her eevee on a flaming rapidash, jumping over the castle walls with a great Bounce. She then hid in the woods.
What a place! It was full of magical critters and Green had fun beating them up with her eevee. She chased them until they reached a cave. A homeless person was in there with a pikachu.
"Who is there?" Green asked.
"Two knaves and their rodents, nothing to see." Was the reply. It wasn't from the person with a pikachu. The voice came from deeper in the cave. It was a man with a jigglypuff.
The person with the pikachu met eyes with Green. It was a beautiful, beautiful person.
The voices of castle servants called Green back to reality. He turned to yell at them, but when he looked back the cave was empty.
When the moon rose, the party started. None of the suitors caught princess Green's eyes. They were all spoiled princes, too confident and not really interesting, and certainly not beautiful enough for Green's tastes.
Then finally arrived a princess. Her skin was white as snow on the top of Mt. Silver and her hair as black as moonless nights. She was visibly not used to big fancy dresses and nearly tripped. She had a pikachu. Her brother, a jigglypuff.
"Only two knaves, and nothing to see? My, the prince is fine enough, but the princess! What a beautiful princess!"
And princess Green was married to princess Red and they lived happily ever after.
Happy Birthday, Green.May you reincarnate as a female rival next time. Maybe in Pokemon remake take two: the genderbent version! *cough*
Edit: I know, this fic isn't based on a classic fairy tale. It's based on a modern one to teach children about homosexuality that I found next to the penguin one.
