I just deleted the WordPad files of pokemon big bang fic draft today, thinking that Google Docs and Word are enough. Guess what? Soon after, the Google Doc file nearly broke on me and the Word file was acting weird too. Is there a way to remake a WordPad file (.rtf) with Word? Like, one that doesn't involve a bunch of junk data?

Because it's in the WordPad file where there was something like 15k words of stuff that I end up not using in the final version and I was sick of trying to find them all to delete them manually, so I just copy-pasted a bunch of things (~20k words) that I think I'll be keeping into Google Docs and Word then deleted the original. Then... well.
