Fried seitan

...I wonder if there is a way to eat them. Maybe I'll just panini them and eat them like that.

UPDATE: Do not panini fried seitan. It is awful. The oil comes out and gets a hint of unpleasant bitterness to it. It's better to eat them just like that cold than to panini them.

Boiling might help? That's probably the thing I'd try, unless it was just heating them in an oven and trying to blot off more of the oil. Usually I have really not-oily seitan that I am trying to put more oil in, not the reverse. :)

Too late, my father just cooked them with vegetables and they got all soaked-like soft and still rather oily DX Maybe I'll boil them in water tomorrow. Hope they won't fall apart...

I should make my own seitan if I want to eat them. I think you had a recipe for that on one of your two DW blogs?

My recipe is here although if you can eat tomatoes a little bit of tomato paste goes a long way.
