So the surviving trolls are the party + one fugitive.

Someone on tumblr believes that The Condesce doesn't count and this means that uu and UU are the same person's two different personalities.

I disagree. Time is weird in that multiverse. My guess is that uu and UU are from another time in the past and failed. If they didn't survive, they are not survivors.

Isn't the "they're one person" based on the whole "UU/uu as Calmasis" theory that's been going around for a while?

No, it's because they share the same initials, call each other as sibling-but-not-the-way-you-think and because only one of them show up at time. Fans figured that if they were different entities the alpha kids should be able to talk to both at once. If they don't, it's probably because they share one body (but not dream self, as one is on Prospit and one is on Derse). Since Sollux had two dream selves too thanks to bipolarity, they think it's a similar case.

Oh, and the thing with Ophiuchus, the supposed sign of UU/uu, being made of two objects: the holder and the serpent. We are still not sure which is which though.
