drabble?

This may be original and may be fanfic.

He lets the helium balloon go, a spot of red against blue sky. Then pop.

A coin lands and bounces and rolls around him, like a happy child.

Remains of the balloon fell on a tree. A bird carried it away by the thread.

He speaks of the trickster's name, his eyes still on the coin. An arcade coin.

The trickster comes behind him, and covers his eyes. Warm hands. Smells of spicy food.

He is confused. Hasn't he already guessed the trickster's name? But then the trickster guides him to turn around and, look.

He did not know it would be possible.

The trickster goes on his knees, and begs.

Two rings, one gold and one silver, androgynous and just the right size.

And, without waiting for a verbal answer, the trickster grabs his right hand and remove the black glove.

The early winter air is cold. His hand, warm. The difference makes his skin tighten and, for a moment, it was as if he was wearing the world as a glove.

The feeling is gone when the gold ring finds its way on his finger. Ring finger. A bond.

He watches his lover present the other ring, telling him to take it. Take him.

He smiles, and he agrees.

And he kisses his husband to be.

Author's note: I had adult Silver and Gold in mind when writing this, but can be anyone, really.
And maybe the twist on gender would be easier if I use she instead of he for the protagonist. Now it's pretty obvious it's gay even if I don't say anything else.
