Happy lunar new year everyone.

P.S.: If you don't usually eat something, today might not be the day to eat it. I just learned it the hard way. Don't ruin your new year and spend it in the washroom.

That's just because last year was Year of the Dragon, which sounds badass to pretty much any culture. This year is of the Snake, which has a negative connotation to the western culture? Even to the western culture it's kind of less badass compared to the Dragon.

Whatever they say, Snake looks cuter. Most of the times. Plus it's the symbol of healing, keeping and guarding, which sounds pretty important. I remember reading in a magazine that the image of a Snake holding a rabbit, not to strangle but to guard it, is/was a significant image of good fortune in certain parts of Asia.
