Now I want HGSS even more

Signing up for Pokemon Big Bang made me check out the games again. HGSS features: Voltorb flip, improved safari zone, characters that are my childhood, having both Kanto and Johto, Battle Frontier, can have espeon and umbreon and togekiss, can have dragonite, pokewalker, can have mareep and ampharos, LUGIA, custom pokeballs from acorns, acorns can now be eaten, berries, WALKING POKEMON.

But I still don't even have a DS. My parents just smashed thousands buying a new TV and coffee table, so I doubt I can get my DS anytime soon, even if I get a job.

At least the new coffee table is very nifty. I love it more than the new TV.

Whiskey Tango Foxtrot! WordPad and Firefox are incompatible?

When I tried to paste my pokemon fic in dreamwidth it crashed the entire firefox. I tried again and it crashed again. Is it because I copied from WordPad, or is it because there are too many words per post?

Ok, using WordCounter, I learned that my pokemon fic has over 5k words so far. Looks like I can easily surpass 10k words.

Flower theft or careless staff?

The dianthus disc we planted around our tree has lost another third. If this keeps up we won't have any dianthus flower left next time. The remaining third are blooming charmingly, I wonder if I should cut them and put them in vase before they got cut/stolen/I-don't-know-what-happened-to-them again.

SEGA GENESIS Aladdin game

Just watched some videos of them on youtube. Nostalgia! I remember my dad and I taking turn to play it when I was little.

Is my memory faulty or the version we played was in English?

Now to see if I can find the cowboy game too... I thought they were cool when I was little, but today, thanks to Brokeback Mountain, the blue cowboy come off as gay in my mind now. The pink cowboy still appear straight for some reason though. Despite being pink. (Ok, it wasn't pink, more like purple-ish.)

I saw the ninja game review at a site dedicated to worse video games in the world, so I guess if we are masochistic I can probably find it in an abandon ware site. Or maybe it's so terrible that it didn't even get archived.

Pokemon anime: mystery finally solved?

Remember the demotivational poster where the anime screencap was cut in a way that it seemed that Gary shoved his hand down Ash's pants? Today I found out that Gary was reaching for Ash's hands and was going to lift them up and hold them while saying something to him. I wonder what it was about.

And while Gary/Ash or Ash/Gary slash had always disturbed me greatly, somehow Shigeru/Satoko looks like an acceptable shipping. It's the charm of genderbending I guess. I still don't ship them.

Also, I saw a picture where pkspe!Silver and pkspe!Blue (the girl, not Gary) got married. Yeah~

That wasn't that fu, was it?

I just noticed that Jonathan Strange and Mr. Norrell was featured at fudanshi.net at one point. I admit that it has a lot of potential for slash, but there isn't actually any direct gay pairing in it. And it produces far less slash fanworks than, say, Harry Potter or Dresden Files. Why it got featured in a site full of 100% BL stuff is beyond my guess.

Then again, there used to be some articles about ball-joint dolls... by a guy.
