Webcomic Spotlight: HERO

This is a webcomic by Hwei, hosted on comicgenesis but somehow not on the list of webcomics hosted on that site. I came across that site pretty much by miracle. It's inspired by Italo Calvino's novel Invisible Cities, hence the url. This comic has no speech bubble on the images; to read the text you put your mouse over the panel and the text pops out in a mouseover mini-window. This separate the image from the 'sound', giving it a distinct feel. The story itself is very slow-paced and somewhat stream-of-consciousness, but not boring and, to me at least, there isn't any feel of 'filler'. In fact, I believe the fact that it isn't completely following traditional storytelling structure is its charm.
